Buró de Crédito is a private company established as a Credit Information Society, officially authorized by the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit (SHCP), with input from the Bank of Mexico (Banxico) and the National Banking and Securities Commission (CNBV).
It offers services for the collection, management, and delivery of credit history information for individuals and legal entities, as well as data on credit operations and similar activities these parties maintain with Financial Institutions (such as Banks, Credit Unions, Savings and Loan Societies), Commercial Companies (like department stores), and Non-Regulated Financial Entities (Sofomes, E.N.R.).
